Bio:Guitar, Ukulele, Bass and Mandolin.
Dave has been playing guitar for 25 years and teaching for nearly 20. Even though his degree is in Jazz, he loves to play and teach virtually all genres with his primary focus being the guitar with a specialty in theory and understanding the neck of the guitar, but that doesn’t mean first day students aren’t welcome! Thinking it would be good way to earn a little spending money in college, Dave started teaching back in 2001. Little did he know it would end up being his career. Since then, he’s taught both private and group lessons for himself as well as for many different places including locally for the Berkshire Music school, Wood Bros Music, Rock On and as adjunct faculty for BCC as well as running Flipside School of Music in Denver and teaching for Jamplay.com.
Over the years Dave’s played in countless bands for a variety of genres both in Massachusetts, Colorado and beyond including as a showband musician for Carnival Cruise Lines as well as in numerous theater productions for such companies as Berkshire Theatre Group and Barrington Stage Company.
Besides teaching for Jamplay, Dave is available locally for both lessons and gigs as well as around the world for zoom/skype lessons!
